Thank you for visiting my photography site. My name is Tom, and these pictures are one of the best ways to look into my life. I'm a technology junkie and love getting my hands on new gadgets. To that end, I've been photographing the world around me for nearly 10 years using digital cameras.

In 1999 I went away to college in Upstate New York. With the Adirondacks in my backyard I found many opportunities to take pictures with my old 1.2 megapixel camera. While these pictures weren't print quality, the camera did get me interested in photography. Unfortunately many of the pictures I took were lost in 2003 due to hard drive complications.

In 2004 I purchased my first camera that could take photo quality pictures. My 3.2 megapixel Canon camera give me the ability to take point-and-shoot pictures, but at the same time allow me to use manual mode to control my pictures. With my new camera I made my way outdoors much more often to attempt to capture the world around me. The more pictures I took the better I was able to control my pictures. Before long most of my photographs were clear and properly exposed.

In November 2006 I moved from New York to Georgia and my photography continued there. There are many natural beauties down south so there has been no shortage of content to photograph. I've adopted two cats, Cassidy and Adelle both are very cute and playful and make excellent subjects for action shots. I've been in a relationship since the beginning of 2008, which has given me someone to explore the many things to do down here in the south. While Atlanta isn't a huge city there is a variety of things to do, from baseball games to hiking and everywhere in between.

Since I've been taking more and more pictures I recently decided it was time to upgrade my digital camera. I'm now using a Canon SX10 10 megapixel camera with a 20x optical zoom. This camera has made it much easier to get right into the action with the high powered zoom, and the pictures come out crystal clear.
